At first, the tool makes an analysis of your computer and detects the programs that need to be updated. It's your decision whether you download the most recent editions or preserve the ones you already have. You also have the option to ignore a program from being updated; if you agree to do so, the selected app will be automatically added to a ignore list and it will not be displayed at a future scan. You need to manually remove it from that list in case you want to update it after all.
The best part of this system utility is that you can enable a scheduling pattern. This way, the tool will perform scans of your computer at the intervals you set. You can choose to run it daily, weekly, or monthly, starting at a given hour. When available updates are found, you are prompt either acoustically or visually, or both at the same time.
